位于双子座以东、狮子座以西的巨蟹座中，巨蟹座位于狮子座的狮头附近，夏夜可见，其中有一颗表面被黄金覆盖的黄金星球，它就是巨蟹座K星，这颗星球大小约为太阳的三倍，黄金星球的内部由锰构成，表面是黄金，含金量最少也在1000亿吨以上，预估至少为地球上黄金总量的数百万倍。</p><p> 但是人们想探索可真是可望而不可及，因为黄金星球距地球2500光年，即便使用光速太空飞船前往，往返也需要耗时5000年，所以黄金星球只能远远的看着，而不能去开发。</p><p>钻石星球</p><p> 位于宇宙最奇特的星球排行榜第一的是钻石星球通常被称作55 Cancri e，钻石星球也被称为世界上最富有的星球。美国天文学家2010年9月观测到一颗星球，我其核心是密度极高的结晶碳(即钻石)，重量相当于10的34次方克拉。如果它是以一种富含碳的物质构成的岩石星球，那么很有可能星球的三分之一就是钻石。</p>
